There Is Hope Dear Mother...
This is a real photo of real emotions of anger, hopelessness and grumpiness of my otherwise sweet child Garrett. He was out playing in the mud and used the hose to cool off, but got too cold and instantly became angry and wanted to blame me, his mom, for not taking pictures of his mud creations. Dear Mother, Do you have a child, a sweet child, who instantly changes, and otherwise has a wonderful disposition, and sweet nature? This dear child, does he sometimes become angry and umm... well, the best word I can come up with is "forelorned?" Does he seem sad and won't be comforted? and cry quickly? Is everything all of a sudden gloomy? Please dear mother, I want you to know that this happens regularly in our home. I would have never realized the problem or the cure, if my mother-in-law hadn't had the same thing.
In our case the problem is low blood sugar, and the cure is to give him something to eat. Give him some protein, or sometimes anything handy, along with a hug and words of comfort. Within five to ten minutes our sunny boy returns to us. He is just as sweet as ever. This is a real photo of Garrett after eating and showering. The two photos were 15 min. apart. I hope this has helped someone today. God bless you you Dear Mother.
Garrett helped me round up chickens and goats after this and wrote "I love you Mom," in the mud.
